Rudi Garcia officially named Napoli manager

The Neapolitans have announced the appointment of a new coach

Rudy Garcia officially became the new head coach Napoli. The Italian club has not yet disclosed the terms of the contract with the specialist.

The Neapolitans have found a replacement for Luciano Spalletti, who announced his departure after a triumphant season at Napoli. The club invited Italian national team coach Roberto Mancini to the team, but negotiations with the coach were unsuccessful.

Garcia’s last place of work was Saudi Al-Nasr, where the specialist has worked since June 2022. Al-Nasr fired the coach for poor results, although the team was in second place in the Saudi Arabian championship standings.

Also, the specialist led Lille, Roma, Marseille and Lyon. Together with Dogami, the coach became the champion of France and the owner of the French Cup in the 2010/2011 season.

Napoli took first place in the standings of the Italian championship, the team won the Scudetto for the first time in 33 years.
