‘We don’t have enough great strikers’ – Mancini, Italy manager

Team Head Coach Italy Roberto Mancini commented on the team’s defeat in the Nations League semi-final against Spain.

The match, which took place the day before in Enschede, ended with the score 2:1 in favor of the Spanish national team.

– In the first half, we played in the 3-5-2 formation, and everything went well, as we expected. Really lost against the opponent in the second half. We were constantly under pressure.

At the moment we have great midfielders and great defenders, but we lack great forwards. I hope that in the future the players of the youth teams can strengthen the composition,” said the UEFA press service, citing Mancini.

In the title match, the Spaniards will play with the Croatian national team, which beat the Netherlands in the semi-finals. The final and the match for third place will take place on June 18 in Rotterdam and Enschede respectively.
