Jones: It’s clear Joshua hasn’t set up a contract with a new coach yet

Before the end of the year, Anthony plans to fight two more fights.

Former champion in four weight categories American Roy Jones urged the public to be calm about the ex-world heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua. According to Jones, AJ is still in search of contact with a new coach – Derrick James.

“First you need to get used to your team. It was his first fight with a new coach and they obviously hadn’t been together yet.”

“Obviously, he has not yet settled in with his coach. So let him get in touch with his mentor.”

Joshua defeated Jermain Franklin by unanimous decision in his last fight. Recall that the new coach Joshua became an American Derrick James. He replaced Robert Garcia.

Joshua plans to fight Dillian Whyte in August to get in shape for the fight with Deontay Wilder. Anthony faced Dillian in 2015 for the WBC International belt and British titles. Joshua won by TKO in the seventh round.

Recall that Skill Challenge Entertainment plans to host a fight in the Middle East between two ex-world champions Joshua and Wilder, as well as a fight between WBA/WBO/IBF/IBO champion Oleksandr Usyk and WBC champion Tyson Fury.
