The Charitable Foundation launched two free sections on football and basketball at once in the Desnyansky district of Kyiv
Favbet Foundation continues to develop children’s sports as part of the Stronger Together project. This year, the charitable foundation launched two free sections on football and basketball at once in the Desnyansky district city of Kyiv, the Center for Physical Health of the Population “Sport for All”.
“When war robs children of peace, sport gives them hope. In sports, they find the strength to believe in dreams again and turn pain into victory. The Stronger Together project was created to help Ukrainian children find their way to recovery and harmony. Together we provide them with sports opportunities, develop skills, build team spirit and show that together we are stronger than any circumstances.”– says the project curator Favbet Foundation Eugene Bondar.
The cost of classes is paid thanks to the support of the Favbet Foundation. The trainings are primarily intended for children living in Kyiv, and their families have IDP status or one of the parents is a military man.
“Sport not only forms a healthy body, but also strengthens the spirit, develops endurance and justice. We are glad that kids have the opportunity to choose their favorite sport and learn new things. May these children keep their hearts pure, feel the power of sports, and let the football and basketball courts be a place where they will find firm faith in the future.”– comments Kirill Boyko, head of the Youth and Sports Department of the Desnyansk Regional State Administration.
Recall that with the support of the Favbet Foundation, there are also sports sections for wrestling and boxing in SpartaBox.
“Stronger Together” is part of a major project Favbet Foundation called “Superheroes Club”. This initiative for the development of children includes the course of basic computer education “IT Kids” in collaboration with Code Club Ukraine, as well as the project “The Power of Knowledge”. Thanks to the latter, more than 5,500 children in Ukraine receive bright boxes of stationery for learning and creativity.
