President of the Russian Premier League (RPL) Alexander Alayev told ” that the composition of the organisation’s board of directors will be decided at the clubs’ next general meeting, which will be held in mid-July.
RPL clubs approved new regulations on the organisation’s board of directors at the end of April. The board will consist of seven people, including the president and CEO of the RPL. On Thursday, a general meeting was held following the results of the 2022/23 season.
– The meeting was more formal, because there were procedural problems: accepting new members in the league, saying goodbye to old ones. They thanked Khimki and Torpedo, wished them good luck, greeted Rubin and Baltika. We agreed on the draft rules, sent it for review, decided which balls we play.
The next general assembly will be held tentatively in mid-July, where we will discuss more strategic issues on the distribution of funds, we will elect the board of directors. There are a lot of questions, so for sure it will be held in person, Alaev told .
The next RPL season starts on July 23.
