In the final, the Ukrainian beat the representative of Bulgaria
Ukrainian tennis player Vitaly Sachko beat Dimitara Kuzmanova from Bulgaria in the final of the ATP Challenger Tour 100 in Bratislava.
It took the athletes three sets to determine the winner. In the first game, Dimitar took the lead – 6:2. In the second set, the Ukrainian equalized the score on the scoreboard, the result of the game was 6:2. In the third set, tennis players showed an equal game and imposed a fight, but the Ukrainian managed to beat his opponent in a difficult game with a score of 7:6.
Sachko won the ATP Challenger title for the first time in his career. For tennis players, this fight was the first meeting.
Recall that Sachko made it to the main draw of the tournament in Bratislava through qualification. In the second round, Vitaliy defeated another Ukrainian Ilya Marchenko. In the 1/4 finals, the Ukrainian defeated Federico Coria from Argentina, and in the 1/2 finals, Sachko won a victory over the Chilean Vera.
