Ukrainian athlete Marina Bekh-Romanchuk commented on the results of the first three starts within Diamond League in Oslo.

“In general, I liked the start. Very lucky with the weather. not surprisingly, it was very warm in Oslo, +30 degrees. This happens very rarely, because usually we find heavy rains and unrealistic coolness. Therefore, onTT time managed to enjoy the cool weather and competitions to the maximum.”

“To be honest, I felt pretty good, this is a working condition. Because we didn’t fit into these competitions on purpose, we passed them in working mode. It was a week of intense work, and this start, in principle, took place on the load. I really like Norway itself, everything there is good, high.”

“Most of all, what struck me at these competitions was the support. She was fantastic, incredible. At the last attempt, when I left, the host of the competition shouted “Glory to Ukraine”, and the whole stadium began to applaud and support me. Goosebumps went right through my body – I was so amazed and surprised. Feelings went off scale, my heart was beating – I understood that I needed to jump, and emotions overwhelmed me. Tried to convert them into a jump. It was the best support in my life.”

When I was standing, I just wanted to see the 14.70m mark, that was the only thing I could think of. And when I saw her, I was very pleased. You can keep working.”

As part of the Diamond League, the Ukrainian twice took a bronze medal in the triple jump and long jump, and once took second place in the triple jump.
