Ordets, who suspended the contract with Dynamo, will continue to play for Bochum

Defender Ivan Ordets took the opportunity to resuspend the contract with “Dynamo “and will continue to play for”bochum ” next season, reports the press service of the German team.

In July 2022, Ordets took advantage of FIFA’s clearance and suspended the Blue and White deal, moving to Bochum. In May 2023, FIFA extended the permission for foreign players and coaches to unilaterally suspend contracts with clubs from Russia and Ukraine until the end of June 2024. The FIFA permit is not valid for those who are still registered with a club that is part of the RFU or UAF, as well as for those who signed or extended the contract after March 7, 2022.

— Ivan Ordets was a key player in our team last season. His reliability, tackles and heading power helped us both defensively and offensively. He is a leader and should continue to give us support and stability in the future. We are happy that Ivan has decided to stay in Bochum and that we continue our journey together.

His contract also includes the option to stay at Bochum for another two years after the special deal expires, club technical director Mark Lettau has said.

The 30-year-old Ukrainian made 33 appearances for Bochum in all competitions last season, in which he provided one assist.

According to the Transfermarkt portal, the deal between Ordets and Muscovites is calculated until June 30, 2024.
