Former captain of the Russian national team, and now general manager of Saturn Roman Chirokov told RB Sport that the club aim to move up to the MELBET Premier League after next season’s results.
Saturn currently plays in the second league of the Russian football championship.
– The contracts of the former technical staff have ended. Who will start the pre-season?
— Vladimir Korytko. The task of the season is to take a place that will allow you to move up the league ladder, most likely it will be the first place. The team has 6-7 people under contract, we are gathering a new line-up, we are working to strengthen our ambitions. We also hope to introduce Master Saturn into our structure and school so that the most talented guys stay in the club structure.
Saturn finished 11th in Group 3A of the Second League last season.
