A Manchester United fan who received a four-year ban for an offensive shirt has linked him to his grandfather

A Manchester United fan, who was previously banned by a London court from attending football matches in the UK for four years for wearing a t-shirt with an offensive slogan, has explained the involvement of these words.

On June 3, a man came to the FA Cup final wearing a t-shirt with a reference to the Hillsborough stadium tragedy in 1989. A photo circulated on social media during the game between Manchester United and Manchester City, on which a fan stands in a Manchester United jersey with the number 97 and the words “Not Enough” on the back. The match took place at Wembley Stadium in London and ended with the score 2:1 in favor of the Citizens.

“You didn’t even ask me what that shirt meant. My grandfather died at the age of 97 and he did not have many children, — quotes the words of 33-year-old James White The Mirror.

The man has also been banned ‘indefinitely’ by Manchester United.

On April 15, 1989, in the FA Cup semi-final between Nottingham Forest and Liverpool, there was a stampede which killed 97 people, over 750 were injured.
