“Rostov” reached an agreement with the midfielder Alexei Ionov according to the press service of the football club.
The 34-year-old’s contract is for two years. Ionov played for the Rostov team from 2017 to 2020, played 87 games and scored 18 goals.
Ionov’s previous club was Krasnodar, last season the midfielder scored 38 games, seven goals and four assists.
Previously, the footballer also defended the colors of Kuban, Anji, Dynamo, CSKA and Zenit, in which he became the champion of Russia, the owner of the National Cup and the UEFA Cup, twice winner of the Russian Super Cup.
