Regina, president and board of directors resign: note from the club

Regarding rumors about the evolution of the company, Felice Saladini said: “The emergency phase for the club, which began with last year’s acquisition, sports consolidation and debt repayment, has come to an end. Today, Regina is a club of high-profile men and women, backed by its distinguished supporters, and following the path laid down in the three-year plan I announced a year ago. This process assumes that once this first stage is completed, the Club will have to create a new structure to achieve the ambitious goals. I am proud to have been involved in the rescue of the team, in the defense of the Club and in the beginning of its ambitious project, I did it with the heart and devotion of those who love their land. For this reason, I am ready to start negotiations with everyone who has an interest in the company, with the aim of continuing the successful path that we have begun and further growing our territories and our beloved Regina.

In this regard, the president and board of directors of Reggina 1914 resigned to leave those who will participate in the project the freedom to determine the administrative and governing bodies. The entire Board has handled this phase with rigor and a great sense of responsibility, knowing how to overcome even the toughest moments of this year. Special thanks to President Marcello Cardona, who, under his leadership, led the club to today’s results. Due to the transparency that has always characterized Regina’s new course, I will make sure to provide timely information on the progress of negotiations to sell the club.”
