Goalkeeper “Sochi” Soslan Janaev On , he shared how he felt when he conceded a ridiculous goal in the opener after recovering from injury last season.
In September 2022, in the WORLD RPL 9th round match, Sochi beat Dynamo at home 2-1. In the 40th minute, Dzhanaev, in a fight in the goalkeeper’s corner with opposing midfielder Denis Makarov, lost the ball, which the Dynamo player rolled into the goal.
– After the injury and recovery in the game with Dynamo, you missed a ridiculous goal. What are your feelings when it happened?
– First thought: “What was that?” I went to drink water. I knew I had to keep going. We have to get together and play like I used to play. Everyone supported. It was visible on the ground. The guys were hacking. We kept the winning result, – said Dzhanaev on the air of the program “All for the match!” on MatchTV.
At the end of the season, 36-year-old Dzhanaev passed “Sochi” 11 games and conceded 23 goals. He has three clean sheets to his credit.
