Seventeen English Premier League clubs have raised the price of their season tickets ahead of the 2023/2024 season, according to research by The Athletic.

“We are seeing a general upward trend in prices, some of which are in the double digits, which is immediately worrying. There is a cost of living crisis and football must remain affordable. We don’t want fans to miss out on matches, especially when football is awash with broadcast and sponsorship money, Football Supporters Association (FSA) spokesman Thomas Concannon told The Athletic.
