“The RFU is working on creating its own infrastructure for the national team in Moscow and Sochi” – Dyukov

Russian Football Union (RFU) President Alexander Dyukov said the organization was working on creating its own infrastructure for national teams.

On Thursday, Moscow hosts a conference and the executive committee of the RFU.

– The RFU is working on creating its own infrastructure for national teams: work is underway on a training base in Sochi, land has been obtained in the Mnevniki district of Moscow, where it is planned to build the RFU headquarters and training grounds. Work is also underway to obtain land in Sochi and build a national center for national teams, ”reports a correspondent of in the words of Dyukov.

The draft agenda for the conference was approved by the Bureau of the RFU Executive Committee on 9 June. It included eight articles. These are procedural issues, exclusion and admission to the RFU, approval of the report of the RFU executive committee for 2022, approval of the report of the control commission and audit of the RFU for 2022, as well as the approval of the report and financial statements for the last year, partial elections to the executive committee of RFU and re-election to the electoral committee of RFS.

The Conference is the supreme governing body of the Russian Football Union. Its competence includes, among other things, the approval or modification of the charter, the admission and exclusion of members of the Union, the election of the president and the members of the executive committee. Each member of the RFU appoints a delegate to the conference, and quorum for decision-making is reached when more than half of their total number attends the meeting.
