Brazilian club president “Gremio” Alberto Guerra said the team’s Uruguayan striker Luis Suarez may need prosthetic knee implant due to osteoarthritis in right knee.
“He needs a lot of injections, a lot of medicine, and he’s reaching his limit. The situation is serious, the possibility of implanting a prosthesis in the knee is considered, – quotes the words of Gerra BeSoccer.
Previous outlets have reported that Suarez may soon announce his retirement due to knee issues.
The 36-year-old striker joined Gremio at the end of December last year, signing a two-year deal. For the Porto Alegre team, he played 25 games, scored 11 goals and made 8 assists.
