Athletistic/ Football. Not so long ago, the 2021/2022 season ended. CSKA Moscow took fifth place in the RPL standings. Alexei Berezutsky was the team’s head coach during the season. For a long time it was unclear what the future of CSKA would look like. At the beginning of the summer, it was announced that Vladimir Fedotov, who had previously served as Sochi’s coach, would become the army’s head coach. The closer the start of the summer training camp, the more media representatives confirmed this information. However, there have been no official announcements.

And on the morning of June 15, the first day of training camp, CSKA made an important announcement. Alexei Berezutsky left the position of head coach of the red-blue. Together with him, Vasily Berezutsky and Grigory Babayan left the coaching staff. Vladimir Fedotov has become the new head coach of CSKA. With him, Murat Iskakov, Radik Yamlikhanov and Oleg Fomenko emigrated from Sochi.

On the first day, Vladimir Fedotov gave a short interview to the club’s press service. His words raised serious hopes among CSKA fans. Recently, army trainers are changing more often than usual. In March 2021 Croatian Ivica Olic replaced Belarusian Viktor Goncharenko as head coach. However, already in June of the same year, Alexei Berezutsky became CSKA’s mentor. Now another coaching change. Many want to see good results.

Many are encouraged by the fact that Vladimir Fedotov showed great success in “Sochi”. At the end of the 2020/2021 season, the Krasnodar Territory team took fifth place and qualified for the European Cups. Last season, Sochi won silver medals in the Russian championship.

CSKA fans left various comments in official club community in Vkontakte.

Dmitry Vlasov:

– How nice to hear about the fact that “football is for the fans”, that the goal is to enjoy the game. Hopefully it will be the same. Yes, and I feel in my soul that, probably, it’s finally a very good date.

Artemy Proniaev:

– After a bold potter, after pontovy birches, Fedotov is perceived as an ordinary man in your court, whom you have known for a thousand years, such a simple man of Soviet hardening, it is generally excellent.

Andrei Kuznetsov:

– At the moment the strongest Russian coach, I hope CSKA will improve with him.

Sergei Ochev:

– For Fedotov, this is definitely a step forward. But for CSKA… No, well, Fedotov is definitely better than Birch. But whether he is better than Olic, I doubt it. He would have taught at least the army’s European football team. In general, if he puts together a battle-ready TEAM, then good luck.

CSKA is Life:

– Very pleasant and clear interview. The man already knows what he is going to do. Well, good luck.

Tatiana Kupriy:

– So interesting, competently tells, very pleasant and uncomplicated interlocutor, without face and pathos. Without impudence, insolence. Really nice and caring person. Good luck CSKA! Everything will definitely work out.

Ruslan Zimakov:

– I’m glad a smart coach has finally arrived, for the first time in a long time I’m really looking forward to the start of the new season, I didn’t expect anything good from the last two.

Yevgeny Kuznetsov:

– Vladimir Valentinovich, let everything work out for you and our team. I hope that Vladimir Valentinovich Fedotov will stay in our team for a long time. We expect a brilliant match, goals against opponents and victories.

Dmitry Hyperpop:

– Let’s look at this. Let’s first see how he will train players ahead of the PariBet Cup. And so, it’s very pleasant to listen to, you can see a literate and intelligent person. I hope that Carrascal will finally play with him, and that Vladimir will return the leader Ejuke to us.

Roman Manaenkov:

– Who causes sympathy said as competently. God forbid that everything grows together. Hurry up to have official matches.

Dmitry Lvov:

– He said everything clearly and to the point! Let’s see how it all comes to life! Good luck coach, and we will support you!
