Former Germany defender Jerome Boateng commented on the insult to the players of the German youth team Yussouf Mukoko and Jessica Ngankama on racial grounds.
After the 2023 European Youth Championship Group C first round game against Israel, which ended in a 1-1 draw, the footballers faced racism on social media. Both players during the encounter could not convert a penalty.
“The fight against racism continues continuously, but so far we have not achieved anything. But we will never give up. I am with you my brothers,” Boateng wrote on the social network.
The Germans are the current winners of the European Youth Championship.
