Offensive Lionel Messi said that when he moved to PSG he did not expect such a difficult adaptation, as it happened in reality.
“The truth is that it was a very difficult adaptation, much more difficult than I expected. Besides the fact that I had a lot of friends in the dressing room with whom I had a good relationship, it was difficult to adapt to new changes. I arrived late, in a hurry I had to adapt to a new city which was difficult for me and my family… It was hard.
I came to Paris because I liked the club, because I had friends there and a lot of people I already knew before. It seemed to me that it was easier to adapt there than in other teams I could play for after Barcelona” Messi said in an interview with BeIN Sports.
Messi, 35, has made 41 appearances for PSG this season, scoring 21 goals and providing 20 assists. The Argentinian striker had previously announced his decision to leave the Parisians and continue his career at Inter Miami.
