Former Lokomotiv player Ruslan Pimenov believes that the Czech specialist Marcel Lichka got the job of head coach of Dynamo with his work in Orenburg.
On Thursday it became known that Lichka, who managed Orenburg, signed a contract with Dynamo for the 2023/24 season with the possibility of an extension for two more seasons ‘under certain conditions’.
– Lichka proved that he had a great season with Orenburg, his management worked very well, which brought in quality Latin American players, this team was at home, they caught everyone on the synthetics. His work earned him a promotion in the class. But there is excitement that the team is playing well in attack, but also conceding a lot. The question is how he will try to strike a balance.
What am I waiting for? I expect Zakharyan to restart his career, get on the right track. Definitely, we need transfers from a central defender and a defensive midfielder, who will take the ball like a dog to untie Fomin’s hands,” Pimenov said on MATCH PREMIER.
Last season, Orenburg repeated the team’s best result in the RPL – seventh in the standings, Dynamo finished ninth in the championship.
