Krasnikov: There is interest in Tankovsky from both foreign and Ukrainian clubs

Metalist is open for sale of Ukrainian football players

Vice President Metallist Evgeny Krasnikov exclusively for the Sport Arena spoke about the interest from other clubs in the midfielder of the team Vyacheslav Tankovsky. In addition, he stressed that he has a positive attitude towards the transfers of Ukrainian football players to foreign championships.

– Evgeny Alekseevich, could you comment on the situation regarding the possible transfer of Tankovsky …

– Yes, indeed, there is interest in Vyacheslav from both foreign and Ukrainian clubs.

– Is it possible that the player will move to another club this offseason?

– Of course have. If an offer is received that suits the club and the player.

— How do you feel about the fact that a Ukrainian player can continue his career abroad?

– Fine. Now is a very difficult time. I will not reveal a secret if I say that many clubs have financial problems. And if you sell a player for good money, everyone will benefit from this. The club will receive additional finance, pay tax to the state treasury, and the player will move to a more competitive championship. And most importantly, that all this is in the interests of the national team.

Recent matches of the national team have shown that the leaders are the players playing in foreign championships – Zinchenko, Malinovsky, Yarmolenko, Yaremchuk. The level and progress of these players is visible to the naked eye.

I would really like the championship of Ukraine to match the level of the best European leagues. And I am sure that over time we will achieve this.

In the new season, Metalist will play in the Ukrainian Premier League. In the past, which was completed ahead of schedule due to a full-scale Russian invasion, Oleksandr Kucher’s team took first place in the First League.
