Romanian coach plans to finalize his contract
Head coach Dynamo Mircea Lucescu plans to continue with the team next season. Romanian expects to finalize his contract with the Kyiv club to the end. The current mentor agreement with Dynamo is valid until the end of the 2023/2024 season.
In the near future, Lucescu will meet with the leadership of Dynamo, where plans for preparing the team for the next season will be discussed.
Recall that at the end of last season, the head coach of Kyiv Dynamo underwent surgery on his leg. After the match with Shakhtar (1:1) in the 22nd round of the UPL, the coach announced that he was going on sick leave for health reasons. Lucescu was diagnosed with arthrosis of the hip joint.
Earlier it was reported that Lucescu is a priority option for Fenerbahce. Mircea also has offers from CSKA Sofia, who offers the Romanian the position of technical director. At the same time, Lucescu has already rejected the CFR Cluj option.
Dynamo ended the season in fourth place in the UPL. Mircea Lucescu’s team will play in the Conference League next season.
