Four matches were played today in two groups
Today on European Youth Championship matches of the second round of the group round took place.
In Group C, England defeated Israel 2-0. As part of the Three Lions, Anthony Gordon and Imil Smith-Rowe distinguished themselves. In another match of the quartet, the Czech Republic defeated Germany – 2:1. The England team advanced to the play-offs ahead of schedule from the first place.
In Group D, Italy beat Switzerland 3-2 in a goal match. And the French team, thanks to a goal by Mikael Olise, beat Norway 1-0 and became the leader of the quartet.
Recall that it is in Group D that the future rival of the Ukrainian national team, which yesterday qualified for the playoffs of the European Championship, will be determined.
