Midfielder Dynamo Alexander Andrievsky shared his expectations for the upcoming season.
“There is only one hope – the first place and the return of the championship,” said the player.
“I spent the whole vacation in Kyiv, in a calm family atmosphere, there was nothing special. First of all, I asked myself what I had done wrong before. We have to correct our own mistakes that were during the last season. I also think that each player should draw conclusions for himself and not repeat mistakes in the future.
“In principle, three weeks of vacation was enough. As far as I know, some teams had only two weeks off, so we have nothing to complain about. We were given a program of individual training, as usual, so we kept in shape on our own. ”
“I heard that we will prepare in Austria, we have to play seven matches, it is already known that the first three opponents are of a rather high level. So it should be interesting.”
On Monday, Dynamo players came out of vacation. The first group of 13 players passed a medical examination.
On Monday evening, the team will hold their first training session after the holiday at the club base in Vite-Litovska. Next, on July 3, the people of Kiev will go to a training camp, which will be held in Austria.
Dynamo agreed to hold at least three sparring matches: with Dynamo Bucharest (July 5), Austrian Wolfsberger (July 8) and Swiss Young Boys (July 12). The dates of other test matches will be published later.
Dynamo ended the season in fourth place in the UPL. Kievans will play in the Conference League qualification.
