The ex-player of Shakhtar will become the new coach of the Luhansk team
Serbian coach Nenad Lalatovich lead Dawn. This week, the 45-year-old specialist will hold final negotiations with the Lugansk club, and then sign a contract.
Lalatovich is a former Shakhtar player. In the 2022/23 season, he led Mladost Novi Sad, with which he finished last in the Serbian Superliga and was relegated to the First League.
Previously, Lalatovic also worked with Crvena Zvezda, Vojvodina and a number of other Serbian clubs. He also led the Serbia U-21 team.
It was reported that if Nenadovic moved to Zorya, then Mladen Bartulovich should become his assistant. The Croatian is now helping Alexander Chizhov prepare the Luhansk team for the new season.
Also among the contenders for the post of head coach of Zorya was another ex-football player of Shakhtar Valery Kryventsov. It was reported that his candidacy was supported by advisers to club president Evgeny Geller.
Zarya’s head coach Patrick van Leeuwen became the main candidate for the post of Shakhtar’s coach. The current coach of Gornyakov Igor Jovicevich has confirmed that he will leave the team.
Zorya finished in third place and will play in the Europa League qualification.
