This morning, a delegation from the city administration conducted an inspection at the Iacovone stadium in Taranto. Adviser Mattia Giorno, speaking before the microphones of Antenna Sud, reported on mondorossoblu.it, stated: “In recent days, the Mayor of Taranto and the President of the Region sent a note to the Commissioner and the Government with all the details of the current state of infrastructure and works, not only in relation to the stadium. We now await a more formal discussion. We have already started an open tender procedure with the promoter of the stadium renovation project to the standard that we cannot pretend that we do not see or exceed. We made a commitment to the city, saying that we will give it a new stadium. This does not mean repainting the existing one, but changing the concept of infrastructure.”
