On Tuesday, it was announced that Mažić had become the head of the RFU’s refereeing department. The Serb replaced Pavel Kamantsev, who will continue to work as chairman of the refereeing committee. The contract with Majic, 50, was signed for two years with the possibility of a one-year extension.

For the past three years, he has worked in Cyprus as Head of the Arbitration Department and gained administrative experience in three years.
