In Spain, the case of the incident with the goalkeeper of PSG Sergio Rico has been closed

The court of La Palma del Condado decided to dismiss the case of the incident with the goalkeeper “PSG » Sergio Rico according to Marca.

The Spaniard has been in intensive care since May 28 after an accident which allegedly took place while he was riding a horse. The 29-year-old hit his head and was also kicked in the neck. Rico was diagnosed with a cerebral hemorrhage.

The outlet publishes excerpts from a 64-page police report into the incident, which says there is no direct evidence the player was riding a horse.

– Since there were no direct witnesses that day, it cannot be said that Sergio Rico was riding a horse on the day of the tragedy. Many witnesses saw the aftermath, that is, Sergio Rico on the ground after a brutal accident, but this is not the time of the event itself, the document states.

On Monday, it was learned that Rico, who had previously been brought out of an induced coma, had begun speaking with those closest to him.

Rico didn’t play a single game for PSG last season.
