Metalworker 1925 and midfielder Rostislav Rusin agreed to extend the contract. The new player agreement is valid until June 30, 2025.
Rusin became a Metalist 1925 player in the summer of 2021. The midfielder has 25 matches for the Kharkiv team, 4 goals and 4 assists.
Earlier, Metalist 1925 extended contracts with Maxim Zhichikov, Yevgeny Tkachuk, Yaroslav Martynyuk, as well as captain Artem Gabelok and defender Igor Kurilo. 28-year-old defender Mikhail Shershen and 33-year-old forward Vitaliy Ponomar left the Kharkiv team.
Metalist 1925 ended the season in 12th place in the Premier League and retained his residence permit in the elite division. The base date for the start of the new draw of the Ukrainian Premier League is July 29.
