South Tyrol, goalkeeper Poluzzi in armor: contract until 2024

SudTirol decides to ban experienced goalkeeper Giacomo Poluzzi after having just finished a great season in which he found himself among the protagonists of the promotion, helping to lead the least lost defense in Europe. This is a note from the people of South Tyrol:

“FC Südtirol is pleased to announce the extension of the contract of Giacomo Poluzzi. The previous agreement expires at the end of the current season. The 34-year-old goalkeeper from Bologna joined the red-and-white club in 2020 with a two-year agreement, that is, until June 30, 2022. The agreement, which was extended for two years, that is, until June 30, 2024.

The red and white number one in 2021-2022 led the least lost defense in Europe at professional level, conceding just 9 goals in 38 days of Group A of the Serie C championship. Poluzzi also set an unbeaten record of 1090 minutes (including stoppage time).”
