Five Ukrainians will play in the main draw of the Grand Slam tournament
Ukrainian tennis player Dayana Yastremskaya failed to break into the main draw Wimbledon 2023.
In the final of the qualification, Dayana lost to the representative of Switzerland, Celine Naef. The fight lasted an hour and 46 minutes.
For the entire match, Yastremskaya converted 1 of 7 breakpoints, giving her opponent three games on her serve. The Ukrainian also made five aces and made five double faults.
At the start of the Wimbledon 2023 qualification, two Ukrainian tennis players dropped out – Daria Snigur and Katarina Zavatskaya. Angelina Kalinina, Lesya Tsurenko, Marta Kostyuk, Katerina Beindl and Elina Svitolina, who received a wild card from the organizers, will play in the main draw of the Grand Slam tournament.
