Ukrainian midfielder Yegor Yarmolyuk has extended his contract with Brentford. The new agreement runs until the summer of 2028 with the option to extend for another season.
Earlier, Yarmolyuk was transferred to the Brentford first team. The 19-year-old Ukrainian will begin preparations for the new season as part of the main team of the Bees.
Yarmolyuk played 16 games for Brentford B last season, scoring three goals and providing two assists. In November, the Ukrainian made his debut for the first team of the Bees, coming on as a substitute in the 1/16 finals of the English League Cup against Gillingham.
Yarmolyuk joined Brentford in the summer of 2022. The English club paid 1.6 million euros for the Ukrainian and guarantees 10 percent of the player’s subsequent sale.
Brentford finished ninth in the Premier League table. In the first round of the new Premier League draw, the Bees will play Tottenham Hotspur on August 13.
