Former Spanish coach of Spartak Raul Riancho thinks that his compatriot Guillermo Abascal will help the Red-Whites win the trophy next season.
– Last season, Abascal did a good job at Spartak, the team under his leadership took third place. At first, few believed in Guillermo, but then he proved himself worthy of coaching such a formidable team as Spartak. Next season is the most important for his future, he needs to win a trophy to interest the best clubs in the world.
I think Abascal will bring Spartak a trophy next season. I’m sure the team will try to win the Russian Cup and fight for the title. Extending his contract is the right decision of Spartak management. Abascal will bring results because he is a good coach, Riancho told RB Sport.
Last season, MIR RPL Spartak won bronze medals. Abascal led the Red-Whites last summer.
