Vladimir Brazhko took second place in the poll, Nazar Voloshin – third
Midfielder of Shakhtar Georgy Sudakov recognized the best young player of the Ukrainian Premier League in the past season.
The winner was determined by questioning the UPL clubs. George was included in the list of the best 8 out of 15 clubs (Shakhtar representatives could not vote for their player), in five questionnaires the midfielder was indicated under the first number. Sudakov scored 20 points in the end.
Second place went to Zorya midfielder Volodymyr Brazhko (14 points), third place went to winger Nazar Voloshin (8 points), who spent the past season in Kryvbas and Dynamo. The list of 23 players also included Vladislav Vanat, Valentin Rubchinsky, Marko Sapuga and others.
Recall that Sudakov was named Shakhtar’s best player in the 2022/23 season. The midfielder outperformed Anatoly Trubin, Taras Stepanenko and Artem Bondarenko in the poll.
In the season ended, Sudakov made 39 appearances for the Pitmen in all competitions. The midfielder has five goals and 11 assists.
Shakhtar became the champion of Ukraine-2022/23. In the new season, the Pitmen will play in the group stage of the Champions League.
