Five Ukrainian tennis players recognized their rivals in the first round of doubles Wimbledon 2023.
Lyudmila Kichenok together with Elena Ostapenko from Latvia received the seventh seeding number. In the first round, the pair will play against the British duo Harriet Dart/Heather Watsonwho received a wild card.
Marta Kostyuk paired with Elena-Gabriela Ruse from Romania will play against duo Elisabetta Cocciaretto/Clara Towson (Italy/Denmark). Angelina Kalinina together with another Romanian Irina Camellia Run meet a couple Alexa Guarachi/Erin Rautliff (Chile/New Zealand).
Hope Kichenok And Alicia Rosolska (Ukraine/Poland) got into the opponents of the third seeded tournament Storm Hunter/Elise Mertens (Australia/Belgium). Katerina Beindl and Australian Daria Seville play against Anna-Lena Fridsam and Mayar Sheriff (Germany/Egypt).
The British Open Tennis Championship will take place from 3 to 16 July. The schedule of meetings of Ukrainian women will be known closer to the start of the fights.
