The contract is for four years
Milan announced the signing of midfielder Chelsea Ruben Loftus-Cheek. The midfielder signed a contract with the Rossoneri until the end of June 2027.
It was reported that the midfielder’s transfer would cost Milan 16 million euros. Another four million Rossoneri can pay out as bonuses.
Loftus-Cheek joined the Chelsea first team in 2015 before going on loan twice to Crystal Palace and Fulham. The 27-year-old midfielder made 33 appearances for the Blues in all competitions last season, providing two assists.
AC Milan have signed Atalanta goalkeeper Marco Sportiello. The Rossoneri are also close to signing Lazio midfielder Luca Romero.
Chelsea have already sold goalkeeper Edouard Mendy to Saudi Al Ahli, defender Kalidou Koulibaly to Al Hilal, midfielder Mateo Kovacic to Manchester City and striker Kai Havertz to Arsenal this summer. Defender Ngolo Kante has joined Al Ittihad on a free transfer.
Milan finished fourth in Serie A and will play in the Champions League next season. Chelsea finished 12th in the Premier League and were left without European competition.
