Athletistic/Football. A group of players, including Russian midfielder Nikita Iosifov, have announced the end of their partnership with the reserve team of Spanish club Villarreal. This was reported by the press service of the “yellow submarine”.
Besides Iosifov, Miguel Leal, who dedicated 20 years of his life to Villarreal, captain Adrian De La Fuente, Iker Gohon and Ian Cassaro also left the team.
Nikita Iosifov joined Villarreal in the summer of 2021 from Lokomotiv Moscow. This season, the midfielder has played 13 games in the Spanish second division and scored one goal. The agreement between the parties was calculated until the summer of 2026.
Iosifov graduated from Spartak, but from 2018 to 2021 he played for the railwaymen.
