Ex-CSKA footballer advised Chalov not to leave for Europe and follow Akinfeev’s example

Former CSKA football player Vladimir Ponomarev said that the striker of the Moscow club Fyodor Chalov until it’s worth leaving for a European club.

The 25-year-old striker’s current contract with the Moscow club runs until the end of 2024.

– Chalov is better to stay at CSKA. We must take example from Akinfeeva who trembled nowhere and wanted to go nowhere. Igor is a good example for young players.

Why should Chalov rush somewhere? He is not at the level of a player to play in Europe. Fedor can only show himself at CSKA. Let’s see how he will play next season. Chalov does not have such serious data to play in good teams in Europe. Fedor once played in Switzerland and nobody paid attention to him. You have to be a team patriot.

Why go anywhere in the current situation? They called in France, but he is unlikely to play there. Golovin is a footballer with character, he was able to play there. Alexander works like Papa Carlo, so he stayed in Monaco. They don’t like veins like Chalov. I would not recommend him to leave for Europe, – quotes the words of Ponomarev “RB Sport”.

In the 2022/23 season, Chalov became the owner of the Russian Cup and the championship silver medalist as part of CSKA. The striker has scored 24 goals and six assists in 41 appearances in all club competitions.
