Agent Alexander Manyakov, representing the interests of the former Lokomotiv defender Igor Smolnikov declined to talk about the player’s future.
“I’m not commenting on this topic,” Manyakov told Euro‑Football.Ru.
Smolnikov played for Torpedo for the first part of last season. As part of the “black and white” he spent 16 games in which he scored one goal. In winter, the footballer moved to Lokomotiv, for which he played six matches.
Previously, Smolnikov played for Zenit, where he became the national champion. Smolnikov also played for Arsenal in Tula, Krasnodar, Rostov and other Russian clubs.
