The Spaniard’s last club was Como
famous spanish football player Cesc Fabregas announced his retirement from football.
“Everyone who helped me, my teammates, coaches, directors, presidents, owners, fans and my agent. For my entire family, from parents and sister to wife and children, I appreciate your advice, mentorship and guidance. To my opponents who tried to stop me, I thank them for making me stronger.
I also learned three languages and became more compassionate and wiser during my travels. I had an experience that I didn’t even think I could come close to in a million years. Now I’m going to cross the white line and start coaching the Como youth team,” Fabregas said.
The last club in Fabregas’ career was Como from Serie B. The midfielder’s contract was valid until 2024. In 2022, Cesc joined the Italian team and managed to play 17 official matches, in which he gave two assists.
The 36-year-old midfielder has played for Arsenal, Barcelona, Chelsea and Monaco during his football career.
The player also played for the Spanish national team, with which he won the 2010 World Cup and twice European champion in 2008 and 2012. During his career, Fabregas played 739 matches in which he scored 125 goals and gave 217 assists.
