In the quarterfinals, the Israelis played with a team of peers from Georgia. The game’s regular time ended scoreless and no goals were scored in extra time either. The winner was determined in a penalty shootout, where the Israeli team performed better and won with a score of 4:3. Giorgi Gagua failed to score, as the Israeli keeper parried his shot through the center of the goal, and Saba Khvadagiani hit the post.
In the semi-final, Israel will play against the winner of the match England – Portugal.
