The Russian Football Union (RFU) has reached an agreement in principle with the federal territory Sirius on the creation of a modern national football center on its base, which will be used by all national teams of the country, according to the website of the RFU.
– Today, for the entire vertical of national teams, from 14 to national, the RFU is obliged to rent land in different parts of our country. Of course, training must be centralized so that boys, girls and already adult footballers train together. In this way, we will be able to apply uniform training methods more effectively,” said the RFU President. Alexander Diukov .
“Sirius helped us a lot to solve this problem, for which we are very grateful to him. We have reached an agreement in principle for a modern training center for the national teams to be built on their territory.
This is an important infrastructure project for all of our football – not only national teams, but also professional clubs, which until recently held training camps abroad, will be able to ‘utilize. It will be right that they have the opportunity to train in good conditions on the territory of Russia. The project is important not only for the RFU, but also for the development of Sirius, whose students will also be able to use this infrastructure, Dyukov added.
The Federal Territory “Sirius” is located in the Imeretinskaya Plain of the Krasnodar Territory, between the Mzymta and Psou rivers.
