Vorskla held a test match with SK Poltava in preparation for the new season.
The team of Viktor Skripnik lost the first half with a score of 0:2, but managed to make a comeback after the break and get a 3:2 victory. Andrey Batsula, Daniil Tuzenko and Denis Oleinik excelled in Vorskla.
Skripnik’s team will play the next friendly match on July 7 against Alexandria.
Vorskla finished fifth in the Premier League last season. Skripnik’s team will play the winner of the Dunajska Streda vs Dila Gori matchup in the second qualifying round of the 2023/24 Conference League.
Poltava ended the season in sixth place in the First League relegation group and retained its place in the second division of the Ukrainian Championship.
