Conceding first, our men did not regret the enemy.
On Sunday, July 2, in Cluj (Romania), the Cluj Arena hosted the 1/4 final match of the European Youth Championship 2023, where the national teams of Ukraine and France met.
In the first 15 minutes, the teams showed a fairly equal game, but in the 19th minute, the French opened the scoring, thanks to an accurate finish by Ryan Sherka. Ukraine recovered quickly, but the referee canceled the goal for offside.
In the 30th minute, Kalulu committed a foul in his penalty area and Sudakov leveled the score with a powerful shot. And at the end of the half, Mudryk gave a chic pass to Sudakov, who scored a double and put Ukraine ahead.

In the second half, the French put a lot of effort to win back, even scoring from offside, but our guys managed not only to keep the score, but also to score the third goal, which took away of all questions.

Ukraine will go to the semi-finals of the youth Euro, where the Spanish team is waiting for it.
