The match in Cluj-Napoca ended 3:1 in favor of the Ukrainians, in which Georgy Sudakov scored twice, Artem Bondarenko scored one more goal. The losers marked Ryan Sherkey.
In the semi-finals Ruslan Rotan’s team will face the Spanish team, in the second game of the ½ finals Israel and England will play. Both games will take place on July 5.
The best result of the Ukrainian team in the European Youth Championship was reaching the final in 2006.
