Double in the blue-yellow marked Sudakov
In the match of the 1/4 finals of the European Youth Championship national team of Ukraine won the team France with a score of 3:1.
The French team was the first to open the scoring in the match – Ryan Sherkey scored. But even before the break, Ruslan Rotan’s team not only equalized the score, but also took the lead. First, Mikhail Mudrik earned a penalty, which was converted by Georgy Sudakov. And at the end of the first half, Sudakov scored a double after the transfer of Mudrik.
After the break, the French team failed to level the score. In the 82nd minute, the wards of Sylvain Ripoll scored the second goal, but the goal was canceled due to offside. And a few minutes later, Artem Bondarenko scored his goal in the blue-yellow team.
In the semi-finals of Euro 2023, the Ukrainian U-21 team will play against their peers from Spain. Recall that the teams have already met at the group stage of the tournament and tied 2:2. The match will take place on July 5 at 22:00 Kyiv time.
In another semi-final match on July 5, the teams of England and Israel will play. The game will start at 19:00. The Euro 2023 final is scheduled for July 8.
In addition to reaching the semi-finals of the European Championship, the victory over the French team allowed the Ukrainian team to break through to the 2024 Olympic Games.
