Sports director “Leipzig” Max Eberl has confirmed the club’s discussions with “Manchester City” by the defender Yoshko Guardiola.
The media reported that the reigning English champion offered the German club €90m for the Croatian.
– Guardiol’s own desire is to join Manchester City. We are in negotiation with the club. For €100m and bonuses, Joshko will be in Pep’s safe hands. This would make Guardiola the most expensive defender in history, — quotes the words of Eberl Leipziger Volkszeitung.
Guardiol, 21, made 41 appearances for Leipzig in all competitions last season, scoring three goals.
