The Czech Republic won the Golden Euroleague in volleyball

Turks defeated in the final

Men’s team Czech Republic won in volleyball Golden Euroleague.

In the final, the Czechs defeated the Turkish team. The first two sets went to the Czech Republic (25:21, 25:22). The third game did not become the final one in the match – the Turks managed to return to the game (25:21).

The fourth set was decisive. The Czechs from the first draws took the lead and kept a slight advantage over the opponent. The Turks were close to transferring the meeting to a tie-break, but the Czech Republic managed to keep the victory – 27:25. Thus, the Turkish national team was unable to defend their last year’s title.

The Ukrainian national team, which lost to the Czechs in the semi-finals, today performed unsuccessfully in the match for third place. The team of Ugis Krastins in a dramatic match lost in a tie-break to Croatia – 2:3.
