Jihaiv left the Ukrainian team due to health problems
Prometheus announced the signing of the 27-year-old American center Tai Odiase.
In the roster of Prometheus Odias replaced Jihaiva Floyd, who joined the team in mid-June, is forced to leave the club due to health problems.
Odiase is a graduate of UIC University. In Europe, the center played for Spanish Tenerife, Greek Lavrio, German Göttingen and Oldenburg, Italian Brescia.
Odiase played 30 league games last season. He averaged 8.5 points and 4.7 rebounds per game. In the Eurocup, the center had 19 fights (7.2 points, 2.7 rebounds).
Earlier, Prometheus signed the Americans Ronald March and Markus Keane, as well as the forward of the Ukrainian national team Andriy Voynalovych.
In the 2023/24 season, Prometheus will play in the Eurocup, and the club has also applied for participation in the Ukrainian Premier League.
