Another newcomer to the Zhytomyr club
Polissya announced the signing of a three-year contract with midfielder Metallist Vyacheslav Tankovsky. Earlier, Sport Arena reported that the 27-year-old player would move to the Zhytomyr club.
Tankovsky spent the second part of the 2022/23 season on loan at Dnipro-1. The midfielder played seven games for the Dnipro team without scoring goals.
Previously in Ukraine, Tankovsky played for Shakhtar, Zorya, Arsenal Kiev and Mariupol.
In the summer, defenders Artem Shabanov and Sergei Chobotenko, midfielder Emil Mustafaev joined Polesye. Also, the Zhytomyr club rented Dynamo defender Nikita Kravchenko. According to Sport Arena, another newcomer to Polissya will be goalkeeper Denis Boyko.
Polissya took first place in the First League standings and will play in the Premier League next season. The Zhytomyr team is holding a summer training camp in Austria.
